- ACRISE C64 WORLD HEADQUARTER -

Welcome to the World Headquarter of the C64 Group Acrise!

In memorium of the old C64 Group Acrise and it's existence of 20 years, we are redoing our website at present. Please, keep this in mind while browsing around. Have fun and enjoy sharing these old memories, we've supplied regarding our group.

THIS USED TO BE ACRISE..

--> a story of success from 1990 'til 1996
Acrise used to be a famous C64 cracking group. Cracking as in releasing protected games, unprotected, to the masses around the globe. With conections from Sweden to Australia and USA to China, Acrise used to be one of the biggest publisher's of C64 released games around the beginning of the 1990's. Acrise was build in 1990 from The Mendrake, coming from Holocaust & United Artists and overlooking the major sharing and swapping scenery on a global base and DMI (Detonics Magnum Inc) who always followed the major sharing scene meanwhile beeing a member of Shine and Overkill, local groups from the Netherlands and Germany. The connection between Germany and The Netherlands always has been very close for Acrise, as Bordeaux joined in the Team, only a year later, from the Dutch local group Shine and completed the international regime, leading Acrise to it's level of awareness.

THIS IS ACRISE TODAY..

--> grown older but still with a young spirit and in good shape
These days, most of the former members of Acrise, are actually in Executive positions, leading teams to their goals and success. Due to the years it's pritty hard to get hold of all former members, back from the beginning of the 90's.

Charlie

Charlie from Varsity died in a car accident, while traveling home from a computer party in Danmark 1994 to Austria, where he used to live. God bless his soul! We will never forget him!

Derbyshire Ram

Passed away peacefully at his home early on Sunday morning, 27th of May 2007. He was so brave and fought cancer with every bit of effort he could find for four years. Right up until the Saturday evening prior was he sitting in his chair with all his children around him. Rest in peace old friend.
